Facilities
The Ko Festival of Performance has taken place on the Amherst College campus in Amherst, MA since 1992.
Our performances are in the Holden Theater which is behind behind Kirby Theatre and the Admissions Office. Workshops are just up the hill in Webster Hall in either Studio 2 or Studio 3.
There is free parking available for both the workshops and the performances in the lot behind the Admissions Office or on the half-moon drive in front of the Alumni Gym off of South Pleasant Street (Route 116).
The Holden Theatre is a stunning black-box theatre with state of the art equipment and facilities. The seats are comfortable and it is air-conditioned
Accessibility
All spaces in Webster Hall and the Holden Theatre are wheelchair-accessible. There are designated handicapped parking slots.
Large-print programs are available with 24 hours notice.
Some performances include American Sign Language interpretation (ASL) for the hearing impaired or are “Visual Theater” where no interpretation is necessary. Please contact us for further information and assistance on this and other issues of accessibility.
We are extremely grateful to the Amherst College Department of Theatre and Dance for the use of their beautiful theatre and studio spaces.
