TRANSFORMING YOUR WRITING BY CLEARING YOUR MIND (level 2)

an online meditation and writing workshop for people who have already worked with JUANITA ROCKWELL
July 17-18, 2021, from 1-4pm EST

(Level 1 offered May 15-17 OR July 10-11)

This workshop provides opportunities to deepen into the work begun in Transforming Your Writing by Resting Your Mind.

A spacious and lively restfulness can be more elusive than we might think. In this workshop we will explore practices that work with breath and body to refresh and clear obstacles of aversion, attachment and confusion. These energetic practices can facilitate a more open and aware resting of your mind in stillness, silence and spaciousness. They can also stimulate memory, imagery and imagination that can enrich our writing and our lives.

Held via Zoom, the first day of this small group workshop focuses on expanding and adding to the meditation practices explored in the first workshop. The second day shifts the focus, allowing the meditation to support an emphasis on the writing process and material.

If desired, a private session during the following week may be booked with the instructor to discuss material created in the workshop or the practices at a special rate of an additional $40 for 30 minutes, $75 for 60 minutes.
